The Trinity Tax Team

Trinity Tax is headed up by employment status experts, Kye Burchmore and Sarah Carstens.

They have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of advising and defending companies and have written tax articles for Tolleys, Simon’s Tax Briefing, Bloomsbury, Taxation Magazine and Accountingweb. They are also the status and IR35 appointed experts for Taxaction and Professional Fee Protection and also provide seminars and training sessions upon request.

KYE BURCHMORE

Kye Burchmore specialised in tax after completing his post graduate diploma in Legal Practice at Oxford in 2006 and his law degree in 2005.

Kye provides advice to companies large and small and has defended cases across many different sectors from construction right through to actors.

Kye is currently in the process of writing the ‘Off-Payroll Tax Handbook’ for Bloomsbury Publishing which is due for release in 2020. This book will be a comprehensive overview of employment status, IR35, the agency legislation and the Managed Service Company rules.

Kye has also updated the Bloombury Tax Planning chapter on Agency Legislation for the last three years.

SARAH CARSTENS

Sarah Carstens learnt her trade in the accounting profession at Grant Thornton before moving into tax consultancy in 2006 at Accountax Consulting. Sarah build a solid reputation in the industry for her ability to defend HMRC enquiries and her technical abilities.

Sarah has also defended companies across many sectors but she has a particular expertise in the Construction Industry Scheme including advising and defending companies with regard to penalties, gross payment withdrawals, employment status and IR35.
